Boroujeni Farmer Harvests 9.5 Tons of Wheat Per Hectare

TEHRAN The Manager of the Agriculture Jihad Office in Boroujen, Nassrolah Sadouqi, said on Monday that a Boroujeni farmer has successfully harvested 9.5 tons of wheat per hectare on his farm, despite the drought conditions. He said that 17,000 hectares of Boroujen farms are under wheat cultivation and added that the other farmers of the region had harvested 6 to 6.5 tons of wheat per hectare. Sadouqi said that the Marvjan training course and the efforts of the Agriculture Jihad experts contributed to the farmer's success.
